Standing still in strong winds

Born and raised in New York, I was never a big traveler until I realized that we are all spirits visiting in human form and should create great experiences for it. I recently took a trip to Akron Ohio and noticed that the air was fresher, cleaner and also that there was an abundance more of trees and beautiful land! Before I decided to come down to Ohio, I was battling with self force. When i think about the need to force, I think about the lack of mental strength. There is a saying that says "whatever is meant to be will be" but in knowing this, it is still a humanistic habit to force.

When I arrived to my destination I was delighted to see a spacious deck with a bunch of trees over shadowing it! I laid back on the deck chair and began to look into the trees and sky. There were rays of sunshine peaking through the leaves and a great breeze coming through. I watched the trees move with the wind and thought to myself "what if we could be like trees"? Trees move with the wind and cannot resist to move against it. The trees just simply are and do not try to do anything outside of its purpose.

The trees absorb and release excess carbon dioxide into our atmosphere, contribute to climate change, prevent pollution, increase business traffic as well as property value, provide wood, mark the season, and add unity. Trees have many purposes. For wind, it is the heat from the sun that causes air masses to have different pressure. Wind is air in motion. Air moves from a region of high pressure to low pressure, the difference due to unequal heating of the atmosphere. In our physical form, it can be compared to unbalanced thoughts and actions. When our thoughts actions and emotions are unaligned, we experience winds or in our case, force.

The trees stand tall and still in destructive winds as should we in uncomfortable situations. In the process, it may lose leaves but it does not affect the trees ability to fulfill its purpose. The weak trees are the trees that fall in destructive winds. Strong winds causes the tree to sway with and against its force, pulling and stretching their roots and eventually falling over. This was an observation that helped me gain more insight on the importance of mental strength and keeping my thoughts feelings and emotions balanced. An observation that put me at peace with what is and what will be. Trust your process and do all things in and of your purpose, all else will fall into place. If you want an answer to the imbalance within you, look to nature, be still and wait.
