The cons of being a single and independent, purpose filled spiritual female
Being a purpose filled woman who gives a lot of love and empathy can be demanding on the emotions. While we are able to sit in stillness and recharge our chakras, we know that being in love is the ultimate way to give of love to others. Especially if we are light workers, we wouldn't mind coming home to a partner who embraces and supports us after a long day of giving much of ourselves. As a motivational speaker and youth activist, I personally know that being around a crowd of people for long periods of time, day in and day out can be draining.
Here are some cons of being a single, spiritual, independent and purpose filled female:
1) We repress our vulnerability:
Being vulnerable means to show yourself to others completely and utterly without holding back for fear of rejection or judgement. Despite what most dating "gurus" would say, it is very attractive to be vulnerable. You must first go in and love every aspect of yourself. Know that it is only the ego that judges, not the true you beyond your mind.
2) We tend to overthink:
Have you ever started dating someone and thought "He/she was sent by the universe, this has to go right!" Going with the flow of the universe can most of the time be challenging. We must remember to stay in the present moment and not think too ahead. Take it one day at a time. While it is true that you cross paths with everyone for a reason, it is not for you to try and figure out that persons purpose just yet.
3) We fear emotional dependence:
We all know that being single for a long period of time can force you to be an all around do-it-yourself woman. Everything requires balance though. It is impossible to love someone and not give them some control over how you feel. I am not saying to be fully dependant emotionally but allow the person your dating to affect your feelings and emotions and depend on them a little to bring you more happiness.
Embrace the strong, independent and purpose filled female that you are, but be careful not to block what the universe wants you to have. Remember to relax and take it one day at a time.
